Vincent Duraud (<powervacua>) (b. 1986) is a transdisciplinary artist with a practice across performance, installation, sound, writing, curating, and community organising, while sharing their time between Stockholm and Copenhagen.
With an early background in political economy & the non-profit sector, they hold a recent MFA from Konstfack (Sweden), where they delved along the political contours of dissonance and other languages and territories of performance without a stage. Their work has been shown in Paletten Art Journal, at Available & the Rat (Rotterdam), Index foundation and Cinemaqueer Festival in Stockholm, and at the Penarth Centre (London). They have co-founded and co-run art collectives interested in queer knowledge-making & sharing -- fake daughter, fantasia & Abrasives.
