A full evening with a dollop of the cream of the contemporary electronic musical avant-garde that tirelessly carries the legacy of industrial music's power electronics, noise, drone, minimalism, and absolutely no wave, moving towards unknown futures. Everything with the Swedish phenomenon iDeal's fingertip feel.
The evening is curated by Joachim Nordwall in dialogue with Roberto N Peyre and produced by Fylkingen.

Organ of Corti (Se)
Born out of a common interest in the repetitive, challenging and intense the three-headed dragon Organ of Corti is a new collaboration project between Swedish sound experts Joachim Nordwall (IDEAL Records, Gagmen), Mattias Gustafsson (Altar of Flies) and Dan Johansson (Sewer Election, Enhet för Fri Musik). Inspired by tape music from the 60s, minimal music, early industrial and collective creativity their sound is unique and unheard of. Organ of Corti is about hearing, about how to be affected through sound and the power of reaching other states of consciousness through composition and deep listening.
While Gustafsson and Johansson deliver their trademark crumbling tape loops, Nordwall adds spacious analogue synth layers. Carefully mixing these bare elements into a hypnotic journey. In the slipstream of their debut cd on New Forces we’re proud to return to our favorite physical format to present their first vinyl edition, containing 2 fresh injections of superior sound manipulation.
Tot Onyx (Jp)
”Senno I” (released in September 2022 on iDEAL) is the solo debut album by Tot Onyx aka Tommi Tokyo, who has been a founding member of the Japanese performance art/live electronics duo group A since 2012. They incorporated the use of the body in their noise & poetry-performances and they made some resonating appearances at festivals like Berlin Atonal. Adept at bending expectations, both live and recorded, the band’s formative early work echoes the experiential vocabulary in which Tommi continues to develop today. A practice in the rejection of tradition and cliché, which in Greil Marcus's words, "Share the principles of negation, rebellion, destruction and détournement”.
Tommi Tokyo has worked in graphic design and photography and has worked for theatre and other forms of stage arts. Tot Onyx is her deeply personal project which shares the founding energies of group A, but is traveling deeper and elsewhere. This is a rich study of her interior life.
Carla Boregas (Bra)
Carla Boregas (b. Brazil, 1984) is an experimental electronic musician and sound artist. Her practice is focused on the creation of sonic spaces through the manipulation of synthesizers, field recordings and acoustic sounds with emphasis on texture, repetition and sensoriality. She works across the spectrum of composition, production, performance and sound installation. She also collaborates with artists from dance, film and theater. Her debut solo album ”Pena ao Mar” is released in December 2022 on iDEAL.
Aset (Se)
Aset is a new Stockholm duo (Anja Enerud and Sonja Tofik), with members associated with Masskultur, Moloton and other dim corners of the Stockholm underground. Creeping out of the gloom, they feed the anxiety with aberrant sounds.
Mariam Wallentin
Composer, improviser and vocalist Mariam Wallentin is perhaps best known for her works with avant indie duo Wildbirds & Peacedrums and with her own esoteric pop project Mariam The Believer. Tonight we will meet her in a rare solo situation where spirits are summoning and echoes of the past and future are present. Wallentin has worked with bands and artists like FIRE! Orchestra, Zeitkratzer, Lisa Ullén and Nina de Heney.
Altar of Flies
Swedish underground noise/tape music legend Altar of Flies from Mjölby is a master of the unpleasant and bad vibe. He has released tons of stuff on his own Hästen & Korset label and on other likeminded imprints around the world, often in tastefully limited editions.
Sewer Election
Another master of difficult listening and also with a rich flavor of melancholy is Gothenburg’s Sewer Election. Often filthy, deeply challenging sound experiments are the center of his work. SE is also active in bands like Amateur Hour and Enhet för Fri Musik and is usually running a few labels too.
Joachim Nordwall
JN is the iDEAL boss and is a central figure in the Swedish experimental music scene. He is active as a solo composer but also in projects with Mats Gustafsson, Christine Abdelnour, Kevin Drumm, John Duncan, Henrik Rylander and Leif Elggren to name a few. He has also been active in bands like The Skull Defekts, FIRE! Orchestra and Oceans of Silver & Blood. JN has a deep interest in psychic tensions.
