The performance presents the results of the workshop in “Sound Interaction and participatory practices in experimental music and performance”, run by Ricardo Atienza and Robin McGinley (Konstfack University) with Leif Jordansson (The Great Learning Orchestra), with the participants of the “Sound in Interaction” Professional Course at Konstfack and a group of students and teachers from Conservatorio “A. Scarlatti” in Palermo, Italy. They will perform for the first time together, and execute interdisciplinary interactive and sensorial scores. The event showcases the outcomes of an exchange that will find its further development in a series of community-based performances in Italy, in the Fall 2019/Spring 2020.

The workshop Sound Interaction and participatory practices in experimental music and performance is conceived by Magazzino Brancaccio, a project for education, experimental music and performance founded in 2018, in collaboration with Conservatorio “A. Scarlatti” in Palermo.
