Den ständigt turnerande Zbigniew Karkowski kommer till Stockholm för att spela live tillsammans med Mental Hackers och solo.
1989 släppte Mental Hackers-albumet "Leaving the 20th Century" på Göteborgs-skivbolaget Radium 226.05. Zbigniew var under den tiden bosatt i Göteborg.
Tillsammans med Johan Söderberg, Lars Åkerlund och Jean-Louis Huhta uppstod olika musikaliska konstellationer bl.a DNA, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, P.I.T.T. och LUCKY PEOPLE CENTER.
Syftet med Mental Hackers var att återetablera en form av ren rituell musik framförd inom vår kulturella kontext med hjälp av teknologi och andra tillgängliga medel.
Nu tjugotre år senare återuppstår Mental Hackers för en kväll bestående av:
Zbigniew Karkowski, Ivo Nilsson, Jonny Axelsson, Johan Söderberg, Jean-Louis Huhta
samt Lars Åkerlund.
Zbigniew Karkowski håller även ett föredrag "Composing the Composer".

All art - music , writing, painting, dance etc- is basically magical in origin. In the past it was originally employed only for ceremonial purposes in order to produce very definite, spiritual effects. In the domain of magic nothing happens unless someone"wants" or "wills" it to happen and there is a lot of certain magical formulae and practices to channel and direct the mind. The same concerns art because true art always tries to make something happen in the mind of the listener, reader or viewer. So being an artist is very much like being a magician. In present time creative art has taken over the function of magic and it may be the only channel for realizing and reminding us of the forgotten powers that the human race once had. This record is the product of our common belief in the need for reestablishing a form of pure, ritual music brought forth within our cultural context by the use of modern technology and other means available to us only today.
